We launched our online bookstore specialized in books in English in September 2011 (11th Floor Books) and opened our own small bookstore/cafe in February of 2016 (Eleven Books & Coffee). Due to several factors, we made the tough decision to close Eleven Books & Coffee on the last day of June in 2020.
We’re passionate about books and reading and running our own bookstore brought us great joy. We’ve decided to build on our past experience but also introduce something new. Ten years after launching 11th Floor Books we introduced its updated version – Eleven Books & Books.
Our goal is to create a place that celebrates book culture – the knowledge and inspiration that is to be gained from reading, the pleasure of opening and smelling a book, the fulfillment that comes with creation and writing. Everything and anything we do will be about books & more books in the first place.
